Born, in the island called Formosa, to a mechanical engineer father and a self-taught artistic mother from a talented family, Christine grew up also under the influence of her paternal grandparents as political leader and legislator in Republic of China, and maternal grandparents as pioneering and altruistic surgical & medical doctors. With her vast personal interests, her career gradually  followed the path of an entrepreneur. She parted from her last full-time corporate job in 2004, started Artifactuality in 2005 with her husband Bob. They have been living creatively as both life and work partners ever since.
